Thanksgiving Safety Tips for Your Pup! 🐾
The holiday feast is right around the corner, and while we’re all excited for the goodies, not everything on the table is safe for your furry friend. At Barney’s Ranch, we want every pup to have a happy and healthy holiday!

🦃 Safe for Pups (in moderation!)

✔️ Plain turkey meat (no skin, no bones)
✔️ Steamed veggies like green beans, carrots, and sweet potatoes
✔️ Pumpkin purée (NOT pumpkin pie filling!)
✔️ Small amounts of mashed potatoes (no butter or seasoning)
✔️ Turkey Hearts,livers, and gizzards are rich in various vitamins and proteins.

🚫 Not Safe for Pups

❌ Turkey bones – can splinter and cause serious injury
❌ Stuffing – onions, garlic, and heavy seasonings are toxic
❌ Grapes & raisins – highly dangerous for dogs
❌ Chocolate & desserts – sugar and xylitol are big no-nos
❌ Fatty foods like ham or turkey skin – can cause pancreatitis
❌ Alcohol – even small amounts are harmful
