What is the purpose of a discovery call?

It’s important for parents to know that their children are in safe hands. It’s also important that your center is thriving because once you are on a waitlist, that shows others that your center is the center for every child in the area to be at.

Aside from attracting new families, let’s talk about making your center stand out for a moment. This is huge. Parents want to enroll their children into a center that is different from all the rest. One huge thing that sets our facility up differently is that all of our classrooms create their lesson plans based off of The Creative Curriculum. What other daycare do you know that follows a curriculum??

I have some questions for all my childcare owners, providers and parents out there..

How often do you let your children free play? Free play is when children play with no direction. They use their imagination to play themselves.

Studies are showing that more and more children are learning the best through free play, through imagination. No, that doesn't mean that us teachers don't need to step in at times, or teach them their letters, manners, motor skills, etc.

This just means that children are learning more through the use of educational toys. They are learning different skills like problem solving, cause & effect, how to play with others, compromise, conflict resolution & sharing.

So let me ask you again, how much time do you let your children free play?

Where you are in 5 years depends on what you do TODAY.

If you don't act on it, whatever it is, today, you will never start. Whether thats taking the first step to start that business you've always wanted, or starting your new diet, quitting that job, ending that relationships, whatever it is. You will be stuck, if you don't act on it now.

Today is the day that I want each one of you to take that first step. It might even be something small, like writing your goals down, something simple.
