Foraged Soap Co.

Returning to the past while holding onto the present is something I’ve been working within lately.
If you peruse my shop (It’s live! After a year!), you’ll notice some changes but also some old familiars. I wanted to return to some of my favored soaps from years past while also adding a few newbies. There is comfort to be found in old work made new again.
You will also notice my inventory isn’t as big or robust as in previous drops. With all the crazy life stuff we’ve been experiencing, it was necessary to be more selective with my energy and resources. The good news is that I’ve left plenty of inspiration in my imagination satchel for next year!
As always, thank you for waiting. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your friendship. I could not make this art without you.
(Also I really miss .co taking pretty pictures of my soap. 🥹)

The Ancients were well-versed in the uses of rosemary, a herb renowned for its ability to strengthen memory. This association made it a symbol of fidelity among couples. Rosemary has always held a unique place in tradition due to its rich symbolism.
It was not only used in weddings but also at funerals, to adorn churches and banquet halls during festivals, as incense in religious rites, and even in magical rituals. At weddings, brides wore rosemary entwined in their wreaths, often after it had been dipped in scented water. Guests received gilded rosemary branches tied with colorful silk ribbons as tokens of love and loyalty.
You can find a simple bar of soap that has been infused with fresh rosemary sprigs and colored with earthy clay as part of my Austere collection, available now.

Smokey Quartz.
While she may be sweet, she is also fiery, risen up from the charcoal and smoke.
This bar was inspired by chilled evenings spent in a dark forest huddled ‘round a roaring campfire, indulging in sugary-roasted confections, narrating stories time has long forgotten.
She is colored with swirls of charcoal, cocoa, and clay. Aromatic notes of cedarwood, sandalwood, campfire, marshmallow, whiskey barrel, and amber. Topped with smokey quartz point.
