If your server crashed tomorrow morning, how long would it take your business to recover?

For most small and mid-size businesses, the honest answer is: we don't know.

That's a problem.

A disaster recovery plan isn't just for large enterprises. It's for any business that can't afford to lose their data, their systems, or their clients' trust. And in Hamilton County, we see firsthand how many businesses are operating without one.

Here's what a real plan covers:
→ Regular, tested backups (not just "we think it's backing up")
→ Clear recovery time objectives: how fast do you need to be back online?
→ Defined roles and responsibilities: who does what when things go wrong?
→ Offsite or cloud based redundancy so a single failure doesn't take everything down

Ransomware, hardware failure, human error, natural disaster. None of these send a warning.

The businesses that recover quickly aren't lucky. They're prepared.

Does your business have a documented disaster recovery plan? Be honest. 👇

🚨 The FBI just issued a warning and if your business runs on Microsoft 365, this is for you.

A new phishing kit called Kali365 is targeting businesses right now. Here's what makes it different -- it doesn't need your password.

It bypasses multi-factor authentication entirely by stealing your OAuth access tokens. That means attackers get into your Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive without ever triggering an MFA challenge.

The scary part? It's being sold as a subscription service on Telegram. Anyone can buy it and use it against your business.

The FBI issued this alert on May 21, 2026. This threat is real and it's active right now.

We just published a breakdown of how the attack works and exactly what your business needs to do to stay protected.

🚨 IT Myth Buster Friday 🚨

Myth: MSPs are too expensive.

Let's talk about what "expensive" actually means.

When you partner with a managed IT provider, here's what you're actually getting:
✅ A full team of IT professionals for less than the cost of one in-house hire
✅ 24/7 monitoring so problems get caught before your team even notices
✅ Cybersecurity protection, updates, and patches handled for you
✅ A help desk that picks up the phone when something goes wrong
✅ Strategic planning so your technology grows with your business

The question was never "can we afford an MSP?"

It's "can we afford not to have one?"

Happy Friday, Hamilton County! Drop a 🙋 below if you've ever wondered whether managed IT was right for your business.
