Ever noticed how bottle ni***es come in various sizes? As the sizes go up from newborn to level 1, 2, etc….the milk is able to flow more quickly out of the ni**le.

This is NOT necessary.

***Your ni***es don’t get larger holes for the milk to exit your breasts over time (ouch!). Your bottle ni***es don’t need to change either. ***

Babies don’t need to have higher stage ni***es as they get older. That just increases the chance they will get frustrated when they have to work harder at the breast to get milk than at the bottle. Cross more bottle ni***es off your registry and stick to the newborn ni***es.

Of course there are times when suck dysfunction or other medical issues including prematurity cause physicians to recommend different ni**le stages or types - a social media post can’t replace individual medical advice.
