Light for Levi and Lessons
Even 5 years later, Levi still puts in the hard work.
Last year felt like one heartbreaking setback after another, but we came into this year with a new focus, a new mindset, and renewed hope. And for the first time in a long time, we are once again seeing positive changes.
My prayer is that these changes continue — that we can keep rebuilding Levi’s foundation on this healing journey, one small win at a time.
One of our biggest goals this year was to regain head control… and look at Levi here. He is fully holding his head up on his own. Not just for a few seconds — but for a full minute, twice, during physical therapy this morning.
These moments may seem small to some, but to us they are huge. They are glimpses of hope. Proof that Levi is still fighting and that his body is still responding.
I know Levi wants to be up, standing, and walking — and we are doing everything we can to help get him there.
We are also preparing for a very exciting next step in Levi’s healing journey. This June, we are planning to do his first round of DeZawa Muse Stem Cells. We have been following many other children who have received this treatment, and their stories are filled with hope for healing after brain injury — especially in areas like vision, verbalization, and motor control.
As always, if you feel led to support Levi’s journey, it helps us more than you know. We now have a “Support Now” page dedicated specifically to Levi’s medical expenses. It’s linked in our bio, and I’ll also place the link in the comments.
But more than anything, we are grateful for the love, prayers, encouragement, and support you have poured into our family over these past years. You have carried us through some of our darkest moments, and we will never stop being thankful for this community.
