🐣 What an incredible learning adventure at Sprouts! 🐣

Thanks to the Iowa State Extension and Outreach Embryology Program, our students had the opportunity to experience the amazing journey of incubating and hatching baby chicks right here at Sprouts. The kit provided everything we needed, and the hands-on learning that followed was truly unforgettable.

Our classrooms were filled with wonder as the children observed the eggs, tracked the chicks' development, and celebrated each new hatchling. But if we're being honest, the adults may have been just as excited! 😊 We were surprised by how much our staff learned throughout the process, and every day brought new discoveries for children and teachers alike.

We're so grateful for community resources like this that help bring meaningful learning experiences to life. These partnerships create opportunities for curiosity, exploration, and memories that will stay with our students for years to come.

The chicks spent the week at Sprouts, and now they're in their forever home in the country with Miss Paige and her family. ❤️

Our hearts are full after this morning’s Donuts with Dads! 🍩💙

We loved spending the morning with so many of our favorite guys—and gals!—sharing donuts, smiles, and special memories with our students. Thank you to all the dads, grandpas, and special people who joined us. Seeing our students light up while spending time with you made the morning extra special.

As we celebrate Father’s Day this weekend, we’d like to wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and father figures who love, support, encourage, and show up for our children each and every day. The impact you make is bigger than you know, and we’re so grateful for you. 💙

We are so excited to spotlight Miss Jan, to know some one who truly cares about every student in our building is to know Miss Jan. Miss Jan currently works in our infant room but has spent time in every classroom at some point in her time here!

Miss Jan has been with Sprouts since just after we first opened our doors and has been sharing her love with students and families for the past four years. Her dedication and steady presence have helped shape the nurturing environment that makes Sprouts feel like home.

Miss Jan brings warmth, patience, and a calming presence to the classroom each day. She has a natural way of connecting with children and helping them feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.

We are incredibly grateful for the love, consistency, and care Miss Jan has given to our Sprouts families over the years. Thank you, Miss Jan, for being such an important part of our community! 💚

A few fun facts about Miss Jan:
~What she loves most is being a part of helping them explore new things around them.
~What makes her laugh is the faces they make trying new foods
~Her favorite books to read is The Very Hungry Caterpillar
~Her favorite way to relax is taking a walk whether it be inside or outside.
~Miss Jan says I feel blessed to be apart of each day with your little ones. I continue to smile at all things they are learning.
