Just a reminder, when it's crazy cold, and the car has a hard time starting with the key..... It might not start with the remote starter......................
You have to have a car that will actually start to remote start................
What happens is the remote starter control module sees the battery voltage go way low in the cold, and instead of damaging the car or it's self, or blowing a fuse, aborts the start cycle.
Some imported cars have small batteries and are more prone to voltage drop in extreme cold.
Notably Honda.
