So tonight, we're closing a little early at **5:30 PM** (instead of 6:00) so I can celebrate the marriage of some dear friends. They already said "I do," but tonight is a small celebration of their love, and I wouldn't miss it.

I accidentally ordered some YA (young adult) books.

And after discovering that returning them is approximately 87 steps and a minor emotional crisis, I've decided they're staying, at least for now. 😂 And because I'm insane and cant have an incomplete series, I have a few more coming.

So congratulations everyone whos asked! We now have a tiny YA shelf!

One customer surprised me with the sweetest little handmade clay replica of our selfie wall (which is actually what our cookies for grand opening looked like!), and another painted this beautiful watercolor of the storefront.

I opened For the Plot hoping to create a place where people felt at home, but I never imagined I'd have customers who would take the time to create something this thoughtful just because they love the store.

Thank you for supporting this little dream of mine. Every day I'm reminded that this is so much more than just a bookstore. It's becoming a community. And that means everything. ❤️📚
