The simplest meal in my kitchen, and one of the most powerful for your cells. 🫒🥑

Avocado + a generous drizzle of high-phenolic olive oil.

Here’s why this combo works at the cellular level:

🥑 Avocado gives you monounsaturated fats, potassium, and fibre, the building blocks your cell membranes actually need (this is R2: Regenerate).

🫒 Zoefull EVOO isn’t just olive oil. It’s high in polyphenols and oleocanthal, a natural compound that works as a COX inhibitor, calming inflammation the same way some anti-inflammatories do (this is R4: Reduce).

Together, the healthy fats in the avocado help your body absorb the fat-soluble polyphenols in the oil, so you get more of what makes this oil special.

Most on the olive oils are oxidised, cut, or low in the polyphenols that actually matter. Zoefull tests for theirs, that’s why it’s the one I reach for.

Drizzle generously. Add sea salt if you prefer. That’s it.

Save this for an easy anti-inflammatory snack 📌

Have you ever been told that your labs look normal, but you still don’t feel well?

Bloating. Constipation. Fatigue. Anxiety. Discomfort after eating.

Many people spend years searching for answers because standard testing doesn’t always evaluate every possible factor contributing to their symptoms.

There are additional tests that can provide more information about digestive health and help identify issues that may not be obvious on routine blood work.

This doesn’t mean conventional testing isn’t valuable. It absolutely is. But sometimes normal results are only one piece of a much larger picture.

If you’re still struggling with symptoms, don’t ignore what your body is telling you.

Keep asking questions.
Keep looking for answers.
Keep advocating for your health.

Did you know that physicians receive very limited nutrition education during medical training?

Medical school is incredibly demanding, but the curriculum traditionally focuses heavily on diagnosing disease, pharmacology, and procedures. Nutrition, lifestyle medicine, sleep, stress management, and other foundational health factors often receive far less attention than many people realize.

This is one reason many patients leave appointments with a prescription but little guidance on the daily habits that influence long-term health.

Medication absolutely has its place, and it saves lives in acute situations. But when it comes to prevention, our healthcare system is not designed to spend much time addressing the lifestyle factors that contribute to chronic disease in the first place.

What you eat.
How you sleep.
How you move.
Your stress levels.
Your environment.
Your relationships.

These factors influence how your body functions every single day.

True health requires looking at the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
