In an interview from 1969, the late Comanche elder and historian Francis Joseph Attocknie spoke of his family. He was wonderfully raised by his grandmother Quer-her-bitty (Arise to Capture). His grandmother and his father Albert Attocknie were both Yamparika Comanches. After his grandmother passed, he continued to learn about Comanche ways from his father.
As a descendent of the noted Yamparika Comanche Chief Ten Bears, he learned of the richness of Comanche life and song.
From his memory of the respected warrior Pa-Que-O-Haw-Pith (Yellowfish), Joseph recalled that Yellowfish was a member of the Little Horses brotherhood of Comanche warriors. For young fighting men within the Comanche tribe, the Little Horses was a warrior group highly regarded by neighboring tribes. Of this brotherhood of young men, he voiced the following:

"But it was a Horse Ceremony, originally a horse ceremony and it's name for the horses, warrior horses which might originally been known as the Little Horse Soldiers. Or little horse fighting men of the tribe."

If MS wasn’t bad enough, seizures started this year... yeah, those are fun. Anyway, I want to get back to making canes. So please give me a holler, and we will see what I can make for you!

Took the first photo when I was admitted to the hospital, again... they won’t let me in without a red “fall risk” wrist band...

One thing my grandpa taught me was; if you want something, make it yourself.

Anyway, I make wood canes to stay away from the click click click (you know what I’m talking about.)
I wish I could sell them to movie stars, but those who need them are not only millionaires...

I sell them for a lot less than the time put into just one.

See one you like, make me an offer.

Want one made just for you like no other cane on the planet? CALL DONT FALL
