Come check out the display cases in our main hall!

We've recently updated them with new "Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior" artifacts celebrating the rich history and traditions of Cherokee High School.

One display highlights the legacy of Kenny Askew of Kenny Askew Park, while another honors an extraordinary family with four generations of graduates from Cherokee High School.

Stop by and take a look at these special pieces of Warrior history!

Join us on June 16 at 7 p.m. for the next installment of our Hear, Here! lecture series featuring Cherokee County native Dr. Jeffery Dobson. Dr. Dobson’s presentation, “Augustus ‘Gus’ Coggins — Triumph, Scandal, and Survival in 1920s Cherokee County,” will explore a fascinating chapter of local history through the life and legacy of Gus Coggins.

A Cherokee High School graduate, decorated Navy veteran, educator, entrepreneur, author, and Reinhardt University Distinguished Alumnus, Dr. Dobson has traveled the world while remaining deeply connected to his Cherokee County roots. Don’t miss this free evening of storytelling, history, and local insight!
