Canton Midas

Good morning from the Canton Midas management team! We know you guys loved Brad Voglesong and we miss him everyday.

Since his retirement, myself and Julia Rathey have taken the reins.

I've been here (Jimmi) since 2007 and like a bad ex, I just keep showing up. Canton Midas was my first automotive job after attending Universal Technical Institute in Norwood, MA. I started like most people do as a general service tech and worked my way up. Eventually taking over for Brad when he retired. I've always had a love for the older cars, a passion I hope to pass on to my 3 year old son (Cyrus) who enjoys playing Midas when he comes to visit. If you saw our Halloween display this past October, that's my Mustang II Cobra II!

Julia has been with us a little over five years now, having initially started at the front counter. With Brad's retirement and my taking over, she moved up to assistant manager. You may not see her familiar face at the counter greeting you these days, but fear not, she's still here! You'll find her tucked away in the front office or reaching out to go over any of your car needs while in.

We've had some ups and downs this past year with the transition. The downside to being promoted is finding your own replacements! It has been easier said than done. Thank you for all the support and business over the last year as we have found our footing. With recent staffing changes, Julia and I are both confident and committed to being the best car repair shop in Canton CT, in addition to being a good neighbor and member of our community. We are looking forward to seeing friends and customers both new and old in the near future.
