Strategic Intervention Solutions
Summer math doesn’t have to mean worksheets and flashcards spread all over the kitchen table. ☀️
Kids keep their math skills strongest when they’re playing, talking, building, noticing patterns, and thinking naturally throughout the day.
A simple card game.
A quick number challenge.
A hands-on activity before heading outside.
Those little moments add up. 💛
That’s why we've created easy grab-and-go math games ready for summer. The math4summer Parent Boxes (K-2, and 3-5) give families everything they need to keep math thinking going without it feeling like “school at home.”
Because the goal isn’t more packets.
It’s helping kids stay confident, curious, and connected to math all summer long. ✨

Such a simple idea…such a big impact. 👏
A brilliant teacher at Perry Elementary (Ypsilanti Community Schools) came up with a fun way to help students remember which way to clear the Counting Buddy: she added a smiley face and feet to either side of the whiteboard so students know exactly which way to push the beads before each numeracy talk!
Small visual supports like this can make routines smoother, increase independence, and keep the focus on mathematical thinking instead of directions. 💡
Sometimes the best classroom ideas are the ones that come straight from teachers in the moment. ❤️
