Happy Saturday! Just playing with some new recipes today. Here we have a sugar cookie base, topped with dark chocolate brownies that have chunks of chocolate chip cookies, and topped with a banana cream whipped cream.

Finally feel like I'm on a baking kick again. Mayo cake Saturday, the maple molasses cinnamon on Sunday, and today blueberry banana muffins.

Happy Sunday! I know it's been a moment since I have last posted. Things have been a little crazy here and sometimes I honestly forget to post here instead of just my personal page 😅. Anyways, here's some gingerbread cinnamon rolls with a molasses filling and a maple molasses glaze I made for Sunday brunch.

Playing around with recipes. Buckwheat flour trash cookies. These would be completely gluten free if I had used gluten free pretzels. These have crushed pretzels, crushed chips, peanut butter and jelly cups, and a mix of chocolate chips.

I've been feeling out of it lately and without the spoons or physical ability to do much in the baking department lately. But yesterday I woke up really wanting to make a fun breakfast. So we had carrot cake waffles, with a quick cream cheese frosting, some toasted walnuts, and golden raisins, along with bacon and fried eggs. Turned out to be a pretty good Sunday brunch.

I know we haven't really posted recently as we really haven't been baking much. Here some recent meals we have done though. We've been experimenting with some new recipes and looking at really opening up selling stuff beyond just dessert options. Would anyone be interested in items like meatballs, possible homemade slider buns, things like that?

Trying something fun this morning.

It's been a minute since I straight up created something new with no recipe at all (I like to modify recipes to what we want usually).
Hubby wanted broccoli cheese soup and I wanted spaghetti and meatballs. So I created something to help both cravings: roasted broccoli and triple cheddar sauce over fettuccine, topped with homemade French fried onions, bacon, and more cheese, along with Italian sausage and roasted broccoli meatballs, with cheddar garlic bread.
