Sasha presented to VEC with inappetence and vomiting. Diagnostics confirmed that she had a foreign body obstruction with concern for peritonitis. Dr. Leshem performed surgery removing plastic from Sasha’s intestines and repaired perforations. Sasha was hospitalized for multiple days receiving around the clock care. Against all odds she did great and recovered! She had her recheck this week with Dr. Leshem and was cleared to return to her normal activities.
