I had a wonderful meeting with a student and his family last night. As I read his essay and gave him feedback he said, "Wow. It's amazing what a few words can portray. Sometimes it says something you didn't intend." Exactly! That's what I'm here for -- to offer that important perspective. He reshaped a few phrases and when we were done he had a huge smile on his face and looked like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders.

I love helping students and families find that clarity and confidence.
