If you guessed An Enchnated Afternoon, you were correct!!!

And it truly was nothing shy of enchanting!🌸


These fine party people dressed to impress as they were escorted down the aisle in style! Our cheering squad was nothing but spectacular and cheered our friends on, giving them nothing but the love and support they deserved!!! 👏🏼

We then all headed over to our dining room, where we were transported to an enchanted garden, were there was cake, laughter, fabulous music sang by the one and only, JAY SECREST, a lot of dancing, and a coronation! Our new King and Queen, who share 60 + years of marriage, were presented their crowns by last years Prince. Between the three of them, they all share many years of friendship so the moment could not have been more magical. 👑

There was nothing but love, laughter suport shared, and a whole lot of Jesus in that room. The spirit was moving and prompted Jay to end with a hymn, were we praised Jesus for all His goodness! There could not have been a better way to end such a beautiful afternoon! 🌸

We are still basking in the beauty of the day, and we look forward to when we can do it all again!💃🏻🕺🏻🎉

From practice to the big stage, the fine party people here at Canton Christian Home present to you, A Night at the Theatre (Patriotic Edition)! 🎭🇺🇸

Over the last six weeks, some of our residents have been working very hard to present a fun evening full of laughter, patriotism, and celebration! And our residents, friends, family, and staff did not disappoint, as they packed the house FULL to support our cast!!!

Three one act skits were performed and a personal poem was shared by the author, from his book of poems.

We took time to celebrate America and recognize that freedom is certainly not free. Freedom here in America comes at a price, a price paid by brave men and women, sacrificing their time and lives to continue to fight and protect the freedom that we have been gifted. We also took time to recognize that the freedom we have from our salvation in Christ also came at a price! A price paid by Jesus and his life, so that we can enjoy a life beyond this one! So, naturally, we had to end the show giving a little praise to God and all He has done! ❤️✝️💙

This was truly a night we will be replaying in our minds for a long time! There was so much talent shared, a TON of laughter, a perfect amount of sincerity and patriotism, many smiles, support, love, and togetherness, and most importantly a whole lot of Jesus!

Happy Birthday, America!!!! We truly had the best time celebrating you this week and all of the freedoms that we get to enjoy simply by living here!

We hope that you too are also able to reflect back on yesterday and remember it with such fond memories as us! Celebrating life, celebrating friends/family, celebrating Jesus and His faithfulness, reflecting on the cost of freedom, and celebrating our nation and the freedoms we are so fortunate to enjoy.

Another Sunday Fun Day around here!!!

We continued to Tie Dye shirts for our patriot. Spirit week, Preacher Pat and Trinity Presbyterian led a wonderful worship service, we went out to Portage Lakes Community Church for a Patriotic Hymn Sing provided by Majestic Voice (which was FABULOUS and such a blessing), and ended our evening with some friends around the puzzle table!!!
