God will never ask you to do something and not give you the ability to do it. His grace will be there to empower you. Maybe you’ve tried before and you weren’t able. You need to try again. God is breathing on you in a new way. You have the power to resist the temptation, the grace to release the hurt, the discipline to do the right thing. It may be hard to forgive, but that unforgiveness is blocking your blessing. It’s harder to live bitter, to go through life with that poisoning your spirit. It may be difficult to control your temper, bite your tongue, not be argumentative, but it’s more difficult to live in mediocrity and miss the great wonders God has for you. You have to get rid of the blessing blockers. Purity is power. It doesn’t mean we’re perfect. We all have things we’re dealing with, but you’re doing your best. You’re not accepting mediocrity. You’re taking steps daily to empty out the negative, to release the hurt, to forgive yourself for mistakes, to be disciplined in your thoughts. God sees you doing your part. You’re in position to see His favor in greater ways.

God knew there would be times that you feel overwhelmed. With every new challenge, God has a fresh anointing. He will give you fresh strength and vision as you approach new challenges. You’re about to feel a fresh wind of God’s spirit.

You could think, “This couldn’t be God; things are getting worse instead of better.” You don’t know what God is up to. Those winds that are so noisy, the trouble, the opposition, that’s not going to keep you from your destiny. It’s leading you to your destiny. You’re not close to your miracle only when everything is calm and peaceful. Sometimes, it’s the opposite. When it’s chaotic, when you’re tempted to panic, live afraid and worried, that means your miracle is on the way.

Quit rejecting the good things God has for you and learn to receive the gift. You don’t have to force it. You don’t have to talk God into it. You don’t have to perform good enough. Just be a receiver. “God, You promised whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Lord, I receive that freedom right now. Lord, You said my latter days would be better than my former days. I receive a bright future.” Now thoughts will whisper, “Not for you. You’ve had too many bad breaks. You’ll always struggle. No one in your family is successful.” You have a choice. You can let your gift sit there and think, “Yeah, you’re probably right. I want to be blessed, but it’s never going to happen.” That’s self-sabotaging. Do yourself a favor and take the gift. “Lord, I receive Your abundance. I receive Your favor. I receive Your blessing on my life.”
