Not what I would call light summer reading. Impressive and heavy ( both literally and literary).

This “Hubert” style clavichord is just about ready to leave the shop. American Cherry, curly Maple, and a beautiful tone. FYI, the dog stays.

Breaking into a Flitch of spruce that I had prepared (resawn and milled) way back in June of 1990. These are 6mm thick. This brings me back to my first days of clavichord building.
