Across P-CCS, students are designing everything from mechanical parts to works of art using machines that, only a decade ago, were reserved for high-end industrial workshops. Through rapid innovation in the industry, 3D printers now echo through classroom settings, turning digital files into physical objects, layer by layer, for the cost of a few dollars in filament. This emerging technology is seen as a great tool until plastic prints start looking suspiciously like something from a movie. As it turns out, these popular 3D prints may be in violation of intellectual property laws.

On the field, Canton senior Avarielle Spuller has accomplished a 1.000 fielding percentage and hit .583 at bat, with a 1.643 OPS, and since our interview, Spuller has accomplished 100 hits during her high school career. Off the field, Spuller plans to major in healthcare marketing with a minor in business at Northwood University, with hopes to become a pharmaceutical sales representative or an investment banker. Spuller sat down with The Perspective to discuss her experiences playing softball and what she hopes to achieve with the remaining time she has left on the team.
