Van Zandt County has been home to me for 27 years. My husband and I have been blessed to raise our four beautiful children here, and this community has played such a big role in our lives. I’ve had the privilege of doing hair in this county for nearly 18 years, and it amazes me that D6 Design recently celebrated 7 years. What started as a dream has grown into something so meaningful because of all of you.

Some of my clients have been sitting in my chair for nearly my entire career, and those relationships mean the world to me. At the same time, I always love welcoming new guests into the salon and getting to know even more members of this community.

Thank you for trusting me with your hair, your stories, your laughs, and sometimes even your tears. This little one-woman salon wouldn’t be what it is without the love and loyalty of this community.

Closed Saturday… and yes, I could blame the weather, but I’m closed anyway 😂☁️
However, since Mother Nature is feeling dramatic, this is the perfect time to remind everyone of my winter weather policy:

❄️ If Canton ISD or our daycare closes — appointments will be rescheduled.
❄️ If road conditions are unsafe — rescheduled.
❄️ If we lose power and/or water — definitely rescheduled (because… shampoo needs water, friends).

If a weather-related closure or delay does happen on Monday, I’ll post an update right here.
