Canby softball secured the NWOC league title for a second year in a row last Friday with a 4-2 win over Wilsonville. The team finished 15-1 in league with a combined batting average of .410 and 187 runs scored, while only allowing 36 runs. Canby beat Churchill in the first round of playoffs, then beat Dallas in the quarterfinals before losing a heartbreaker 1-0 in TWELVE innings to Wilsonville in the Semi-Finals. The Cougars also had 11 players receive all-league awards.
