🥹 To anyone that’s having a hard time saying goodbye to their friends this season…here’s a mini share from my heart to yours.
It was 12:30am and I had a thought while I was finishing reviewing my light notes from stage rehearsal earlier last night…(I look so tired- cause I am- but this had to be said!) 🫶 but- I got inspired…
Here’s the thing- sometimes we don’t know what to say when we know someone is graduating and moving on…we don’t want to sound cheesy, or overly emotional fearing others opinions.
At the same time we don’t want to not tell the person how much we love them and what they mean to us and what they’ve done for our lives…
The solution?! Gratitude…
As a seasoned dancer and in my 24th year teaching and also 16 years running my own studio- here’s one tip that can help get past that awkward hesitation of self doubt and nerves- and just help you find the truth in what you’re trying to say…share honest gratitude from the heart.
Do you have any tips to add to this list of healthy and supportive ways to send off your buddies when they graduate?! Comment below and share with me cause I can share then with my students and maybe it will help!🙏
Let’s spread so much love, no more hate. Lift eachother up, don’t compete. You only have today, tomorrow is not promised!
Love you all, Xo Kea
