Every July 6th, Pamplona begins San Fermín, a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages. ✨

For nine days, the city celebrates with parades, music, regional dances, and religious processions honoring Saint Fermín, the patron saint of Navarra.

The most famous event is the Encierro, or running of the bulls 🐂—but San Fermín is also about community, devotion, and cultural pride. People dress in white with red scarves, symbolizing purity and the saint’s martyrdom.

The festival opens with the chupinazo rocket 🎆 and ends with the song ‘Pobre de mí’, when thousands gather by candlelight to close the celebration.

San Fermín isn’t just a fiesta—it’s a living tradition, blending history, faith, and joy in the streets of Pamplona. 🇪🇸❤️”
