MLK Chinese Immersion - Parent Group

Tonight at MLK school at 5:30pn there will be an information session about the Chinese Immersion program, for families entering this year's kindergarten lottery.

Initial planning for middle school Chinese content courses at Putnam Avenue Upper School (PAUS) is starting, according to a recent letter from MLK principal Gerald Yung and Putnam Avenue Upper School principal Mirko Chardin.

Our first immersion class is in 5th grade at MLK now, and this group will be attending PAUS for 6th grade next year. It's great news that they will be able to keep extending their Chinese education!

Chinese New Year is coming up! This year MLK will celebrate on Friday February 12th - families are invited to the Chinese New Year assembly, in which children from grades K-5 will be singing in Chinese.
