Spend a summer night exploring the rivers that shape Cambridge through art, science, tech, and hands-on experiences.
What’s happening:
🎤 Meet artist Jonathon Keats and hear about New England River Time—a living clock powered by the changing flow of New England rivers, featured in our Split I Second exhibition.
🤖 Help train AI as a citizen scientist with MIT Sea Grant, then experience the annual river herring migration in immersive VR.
🌱 Create your own floating wetland with the Charles River Conservancy.
🔬 See the microscopic world of plankton through artist Jess Holz’s live microscopy.
💧 Connect with local environmental groups, including the Mystic River Watershed Association, and discover new ways to engage with the waterways around you.
🍜 Food and drinks available for purchase from Pagu.
