The Boston Marathon is one of the most famous athletic events in the world and draws runners from dozens of countries and all 50 states.

Take advantage of the fact you are in Boston and participate in this world-renowned event! Due to class schedules, the HKS team volunteers on the Sunday (April 16) before the marathon at either the runners’ expo or the pasta dinner.

SafeWalk 11/22/2016

[Introducing SafeWalk!] There has recently been an increase in harassment and violence on the basis of religion, race, ethnicity, immigration status, sexual orientation, etc., around the country and within the Harvard community. We've started SafeWalk for anyone who feels unsafe or fears harassment in public places:

- We connect you to a group of people who live near you so that you can coordinate walking home together on a regular basis .
- Sometimes, no one will be available at the time you want to walk home. In that case, we arrange for volunteers to be on-call so you can contact them to walk with you.
