What a great way to kick off the academic year! Thank you all for joining us and making this community great! We would also like to thank the clergy who joined us and to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church for allowing us to use the parish hall for dinner. It's going to be a great year!

Last night after the Akathist to the Theotokos and dinner we had our last Summer of Theology event. Dr. Jenny Mosher from CrossRoad Institute guided us through a fascinating study of Habakkuk where we went off into pairs and wrestled with the text. She helped us relate to the text on many levels by facilitating our experience of the text on an individual, patristic, and liturgical level. Thank you Jenny! Thank you to all who came with your smiling faces and desire to learn!

It was great to hear from Deacon Michael Azar this past Thursday for Summer of Theology. Deacon Michael brought his wit and theological expertise to help us understand that the Apocalypse is a revelation of Christ crucified and that through crucifixion, Christ is victorious! Thank you to all who participated! Reminder that this Thursday we will have another Summer of Theology talk from Fr. Vassilios Bebis on translating the New Testament. Please join us after vespers for dinner and the talk!
