The Native Plant Trust is hosting a free, two-day fall symposium Need for Seed: A Strategy for the Northeast, on November 2–3. Eve Allen, Director of the Seed and Plant Supply Chain Program at EHN, will be presenting on the 2nd about EHN's collaborative initiative to reinforce and build network connections among government agencies, tribal groups, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, botanic gardens, farmers, private companies, and citizen groups, as a first step in improving the availability of genetically appropriate seed and plant materials to restore a wide range of ecosystems.
