Finally! Prom season is here and it's my favorite time of year. I just wanted to post a few things to keep in mind when choosing your perfect prom look. Pinterest is a great tool! In ways, it makes my job easier and more difficult. Easier because I get an idea of what you want. More difficult because I know that sometimes that look may not work for you. For instance, when you see the person in the picture is their coloring similar to yours? Are you looking at a brown-eyed brunette when your a blue-eyed blonde? Does the model in the picture have extremely thick, dark eyebrows where yours are thin and blonde? Does the pattern of the eye shadow actually flatter your eye shape? Believe it or not, all of these things make a difference when it comes to choosing makeup. While I believe everyone is beautiful, not every face is the same and just because you love a picture doesn't mean it works for you! I may be able to completely recreate the look and you feel over or underwhelmed at that same look on your face! That's why I can call myself a makeup artist. I am trained to know faces and features. I love when you come to me with color schemes and ideas! But please trust me (or your personal makeup artist) to make a final decision on what actually works best for you! 😘

PS- if you want GREAT eyebrows, please come to me with well-groomed eyebrows. Threading is best, but if you're going to wax please do it at least 5 days in advance so there are no wax marks on your face.
