Hope Heals Suicide Prevention Task Force

November 22nd is International Survivors of Su***de Loss Day.

This day honors those who carry the weight of losing someone to su***de—a grief that is profound, complex, and deeply personal. There is no timeline and no “right” way to heal. The journey each survivor takes is as unique as they are, and we stand with you in that journey.

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month — a time to come together, break the silence, and remind each other that no one has to face their pain alone. Too often, struggles are hidden behind quiet smiles, and lives are lost in the silence of battles no one else can see. This month, let’s shine a light into those dark spaces, speak openly about mental health, and remind ourselves and others: your life has meaning, your voice matters, and your story isn’t over.

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, it’s an act of courage. Healing doesn’t happen all at once, but every step toward hope is a step worth celebrating. You are worthy of love, worthy of healing, and worthy of tomorrow.
