Update- Thank you again to everyone checking in on Piñon and Trixie. Trixie has been home with us for 3 weeks and is well on the mend! Piñon is doing so much better and is starting to get mini hairs growing back and his skin is very healthy. We have learned many lessons in this process of recovery for both dogs. Canine’s burn differently than humans. The severity of the burns were not seen until days and weeks after until after the fire. So many “thank you’s” again to Bijou Animal Hospital for their continued care for our dogs. The biggest thing I have learned in this process is about kindness and love from all of you. After 25 years of dog training this has been my biggest hurdle to face, but the support from all of you will never be forgotten. -Ben
