Hey everyone! Please help me welcome the newest member of the Idaho Army National Guard Nick Rivera. I met Nick just over a year ago at Elevate Academy lifting weights and I knew he would be a great addition to the team, but he never really showed any interest. He came to one drill as a guest and was hooked! I’m so excited to see this kids future take off, and I’m lucky enough to be a part of it. He’s been through so much adversity this year, and is overcoming it all. That alone speaks volumes to his character. Congrats again dude! Hey everyone! Please help me welcome the newest member of the Idaho Army National Guard Bryon Stansell. Bryon crushed the ASVAB, which enabled him to enlist as a 15T Blackhawk Helicopter Repairer and earn a $20,000 sign on bonus. Also, he earned the GI Bill kicker which is $350 extra in his pocket if he decides to go to college! Like I always say, it pays to get good grades! That’s so awesome dude! He’ll be graduating from Middleton Academy in a couple weeks and drill one weekend a month this summer and get paid for it before he ships to training in October! Hey everyone! Please help me welcome the newest member of the Idaho Army National Guard Joseph Crossley. He enlisted as a 12B Combat Engineer, my first one ever! Another first, he attends Elevate Academy in Caldwell, Idaho and he’s my first soldier enlisting from there! To top it all off, he’s also a junior in high school. So, he’ll go to basic training in between his junior and senior year, and work one weekend a month his entire senior year and get paid to do some fun stuff! The unique thing about the Army National Guard is his contact already started. By the time he’s done with training, he’ll have over a year and a half in the military. Congrats Joseph!
