AFRICA… you exceeded every expectation!!🌍✨

Victoria Falls 🌊—🚁 over one of the natural wonders of the world—was the grand finale of my dream trip. Staying at Old Drift Lodge in five-star “glamping” tents (think glass walls, elevated above the ground, with a private plunge pool overlooking the Zambezi River 😍) felt like something out of a movie (except for the centipede in my room-there are more poisonous than scorpions)🦂🦂

We watched elephants swim, hippos and crocodiles glide through the water on our game drives on a boat on the Zambezi River. On other bush drives we saw buffalo, monkeys, and baboons up close in the wild. Plus I discovered a round termite nest in a tree that our guides had not seen before and did not know what it was until I asked my boyfriend-ChatGPT😁…Truly unreal.

Oh—and let’s talk about that final adventure 😅
A speedboat ride under Victoria Falls = completely drenched 💦
… 365 steps down AND a hen…365 steps back up (yes… 36 flights 😳)

By the end, my legs were literal spaghetti noodles 🍝
Barely made it through the airport—but totally worth it.
