We were a little quiet on Mother’s Day this year due to a medical emergency — but we still found a way to celebrate. 🤍

And honestly… how amazing is this piece my son made for me?! It’s my granny’s handwritten recipe engraved forever.

What makes it even funnier is the fact that just days before his birthday, all he requested was “cake with chocolate icing” …using THIS exact recipe he watched me make. So naturally, he turned around and engraved it for me. Maybe to make sure I never “accidentally” lose it. 😂
