Last week we also heard from Dr. Paula Hartley, she is a licensed psychologist associated with the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, a U.S. Department of Defense medical facility. She provides psychological services within the behavioral health discipline, specializing in the assessment and treatment of mental and emotional health conditions.

Dr. Hartley practices internationally and is currently based in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, Japan. In this role, she supports a diverse population that includes U.S. military personnel, government civilians, and their families, as well as individuals living in the surrounding community. Her work is grounded in established psychological principles, including evaluation, counseling, and therapeutic intervention aimed at improving mental health, resilience, and overall well-being. What a pleasure it was to have her visit our club while she was in town! THANK YOU!

The Cabot Rotary Club would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Cabot High School senior, Candela Saz-Price, for being our guest speaker!

Candela is an outstanding student at Cabot High School and has an incredibly bright future ahead. She has been accepted to the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where she will also continue her volleyball career at the collegiate level—an impressive achievement that reflects her dedication both in the classroom and on the court.

Her nomination to the academy by Rick Crawford speaks volumes about her character, leadership, and commitment to excellence in everything she does.

We are proud to have heard her story and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in the years ahead. The students at Cabot High continue to amaze us!

We were honored to welcome Cabot High School’s Lance Clark, Director of Football Operations/Head Football Coach as our guest speaker at Rotary Club!

Coach Clark shared his passion for investing in young people and building more than just a football program. His focus on helping student-athletes truly know their teammates, support one another, and grow through both success and failure was inspiring to hear. He emphasized that those challenging moments are what shape these young men into stronger leaders both on and off the field.

It’s clear that Coach Clark is committed to pouring back into our youth and making a lasting impact in our community. We’re excited to see the positive influence he will have on Cabot’s students and athletes!
