The The PEACH Pit is excited to announce a new 13-week teen anger management program, “What’s Good About Anger,” beginning Monday, July 13, 2026.
This free evidence-informed program is designed for adolescents who struggle with anger, emotional regulation, frustration, or conflict with peers and family. Throughout the 13 weeks, participants will learn to:
-Understand the purpose of anger and identify personal triggers.
-Develop healthy coping and emotional regulation skills.
-Improve communication and relationships.
-Build confidence and self-control.
-Set positive goals and make better decisions.
Sessions will be held every Monday from 5:00–6:00 p.m. at their Downtown Office, 118 W. Church Street, Fort Valley, GA 31030. The first 12 weeks will take place at the office, with the final session held at The PEACH Pit farm, where participants will have the opportunity to experience our equine-assisted environment.
