It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our colleague, Melissa Yakubu, who served with World Renew’s West Africa Ministry Team.

Melissa’s work helped strengthen safe and respectful spaces for staff, partners, and participants. She served World Renew with wisdom and a deep commitment to justice, inclusion, and the dignity of every person. Her calming presence, thoughtful guidance, and faithful contributions shaped the staff and communities with whom she worked.

We give thanks for Melissa’s life and the ways she reflected Christ’s love through her work and relationships.
