If you are unsure how the new legislation helps increase your tax refund if you are a server or receive tips, please come by or call the office to speak with someone about it.

AS OF LAST WEEKS RULING, THE BOI FILING REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN RULED UNCONSTITUTIONAL BY A TEXAS FEDERAL JUDGE. THIS RULING MEANS THAT YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO FILE THE BOI REPORT AND WILL NOT BE FINED.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY FILED THE BOI REPORT, I WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT IT SINCE THE INFORMATION THEY REQUIRED WAS SO MINIMAL.

YOU SHOULD PAY ATTENTION IN THE UPCOMING WEEKS TO MAKE SURE THAT FINCEN DOES NOT TRY TO OVERTURN THE RULING.

If you have a LLC, partnership or corporation you are required to file the BOI report. This is due by the end of the year or your fine could be a maximum of $10,000.
