Hi everyone,

Our hearts are heavy after the recent tragedy in town. We’re holding the victims, their families, and our whole community close in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Given the current situation, we’ve decided to cancel this week’s market. We want to be extra cautious as we navigate the days ahead.

The market will continue, but as of right now, our priority is safety and giving our community some space to process and heal. We’ll keep you posted on next week’s plans.

Pre-Folk Festival market sure was a blast. I loved all the out-of-town visitors! Talking to them and sharing the Story Lorry's history, as well as hearing their own stories was inspirational. I was told about a fellow mobile bookstore on the other side of the country, and when I went to their website, I am refreshed in knowing someone out there shares my passion and my values....

Funnily enough, was just thinking of something like this... if the Story Lorry could join food vendors more often if we could "serve" books in a more impromptu way.
