Customer: I have two old laptops. I'm not sure what's on them? Can you check to see if there are any family pictures for me?
Me: Yes, as long as the hard drives are not physically damaged, I can do the best I can to try to pull off as many files as possible.

This is new and MAY happen to you...I recently had a computer customer of mine call me to tell that they thought they had been hacked while they were online with their bank account. The bank would not permit the user to use the online banking system until they had their computer looked at by a computer professional. I can help with that! For the customer affected, I did a deep-scan of their system to find what the hacker attempted to do and remove it. I did find a remote piece software that was there and may have caused part of the problem. Unfortunately, there is NOTHING that protects you 100% from hackers these days, but I feel my computer skills can help in this situation if this happens to you!
