We are looking to hire a Concrete Laborer to be responsible for designing and building forms, pouring concrete, then spreading and smoothing it using trowels or other tools. You may also be required to apply stains to finish the concrete, adding small stones for decoration, and concluding the process by applying waterproofing and sealants.

To be successful as a Concrete Laborer, you should be up to date with the latest technology involving concrete work, possess the knowledge and skill of a specialist in the field, and maintain a high standard of work. Your ability to meet job specifications and make top class finishes in concrete work will ensure your success.


Key Result Area #1:
Install:

Pour concrete.

Use wire mesh to reinforce the concrete.

Spread and smooth concrete.

Mold expansion joints and edges.

Use stains or colors to add finishing touches.

Add small stones or other materials for decoration.

Apply waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work.

Monitor the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish.


Key Result Area #2:
Learn:

Designing and building forms.

Setting up the forms.

Setting wire and rebar.

Be teachable.

Willing to take direction.


Key Result Area #3:
Assist:

Listen to Lead/Supervising Concrete Foreman and assist them.

Help to install and construct concrete structures.

Skills needed to win:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license

Reliable transportation

3-year apprenticeship or on the job experience under journeymen workers.

Proof of hours of hands-on experience.

We offer competitive wages/salary.

Once employed, you begin your career with a 90-day probationary period to then become eligible for benefits.

Within those first 90 days, Steadfast team members are not eligible for benefits.

Within those first 90 days, Steadfast team members are not eligible for paid time off, vacation time off, or personal time off.

Vacation and personal time are provided after 1 year of full-time employment.

You receive 5 days of paid vacation and 5 days of personal time after 1 year.

After first 90 days, paid holidays are as follows:

New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

After first 90 days, Steadfast will conduct a performance review.
