Greg Deal LPPA Chair

Hey everyone!
I wanted to give you all a quick update. Mr. Bill Cox resigned as Executive Vice Chair this past weekend. Bill was an integral part of the LPPA, and I consider him a close friend. He will be missed as the EVC, and as a friend.

That being said. I have been assigned the interim Executive Vice Chair role, and I'm in the process of transitioning from Secretary to that role. With any luck, I will be confirmed in June, and will be your EVC going forward. Mr. Alfa Shaw who was my assistant, is now the interim Secretary of the LPPA.

I will be holding my first office hours next Tuesday, May 30th at 6:00pm via Zoom. A link will follow.

After much contemplating, soul searching, and looking back on the last 8 plus months, I've decided that I will be seeking reelection as the Secretary of the LPPA.

No major change is done easily, or overnight. I've made mistakes, and our team hasn't always been at its best. But I truly believe we have created a better LPPA, and I want to continue our work.

We have streamlined board meetings, set in motion a truly volunteer organization, revamped committees, and are working on better documents, and tracking of our successes, and failures.

I hope I have created enough trust in my abilities to earn your vote for another round.
