We love collaboration! Today Melanie Carrico with Consumer Apparel and Retail Studies at UNCG is getting 360 video of our garment dye facility for an immersive learning program. These shirts are a re-order in a new color for Carrboro Farmers Market. Thanks Keith for taking the time to show us the labor intensive process.

The team here at TS Designs was honored to have Richard Ojeda , running for US House of Representatives for District 9 in NC, visit our facility yesterday! Him and his team joined us for lunch of local grass-fed burgers and received a tour.

As a retired US Army Major, we witnessed firsthand how passionate he is about the plight of working people not being able to afford the cost of living in NC; how veterans and others are suffering from PTSD without adequate treatment; how valuable our teachers are to our community; and why workers shouldn't be taxed until they make a certain amount. As a past West Virginia State Senator, he has a history of pushing legislation through for what is best for his constituents.

He listened intently to our employees about the challenges and opportunities we face working in North Carolina from rising health care costs and rapidly rising prices for gas and food, to the importance of supporting and strengthening our educational system.

Representatives from Solid State Clothing, Piedmont Fibershed, Know Your Clothing , Piedmont Agrarian Collaborative - PAC were on hand to show him a tour.
