Vermont 4-H’ers have returned from the National 4-H Shooting Sports Championship, where they represented Vermont. 🍀
Held in Grand Isle, Nebraska, from June 20-26th, youth from across the country gathered to participate in a variety of shooting sports disciplines, while also emphasizing safety, responsibility, leadership, and sportsmanship. After months of training and practice with local 4-H clubs and certified volunteer instructors, the Vermont representatives demonstrated all of their hard work.
Vermont 4-H’ers competed across the following categories: air rifle, .22 rifle, and muzzleloader.
The team thanks their families, 4-H clubs, communities, and Vermont businesses and organizations for their continued support in helping them reach national competition, which is a significant accomplishment for the youth contributors.

They also help support pollinators, increase biodiversity, and increase the availability of fresh produce in the kitchen. This season, whether redesigning a garden bed or sprinkling edible plants into your existing landscape, small changes can promote great benefits!
