Join us on Tuesday, July 21st to learn all about the Monarch Butterfly’s life cycle, habitat, migration, and tagging. We will take you on a walk around Seno Woodland Center’s prairie to identify and learn about milkweed, a plant vital to the Monarch’s survival. During our walk we will gather eggs and all stages of a monarch caterpillar and learn how to raise these caterpillars into butterflies. Each participant/family/group will build a Monarch rearing box to take home!
Cost: $25/Rearing Box, FREE if you aren't reserving a box

If you'd like to attend without taking home a rearing box, you may still join us! Just shoot us an email at [email protected] to let us know you're coming!

We are pleased to welcome Paul Sloth as Seno K/RLT’s next Executive Director! Before becoming Seno’s Executive Director, he served on the board of directors, where he has been an active member of the land protection committee. He has also assisted with Seno’s maple sugaring programs and participated in prescribed burns on Seno properties. Paul is a certified Wisconsin Master Naturalist, having completed his training at Wehr Nature Center in Franklin, Wisconsin.
Our Executive Director, Stacy Santiago, is stepping down this year to move on to a new career. We are sad to see her go but wish her the best on her new journey! Stacy will still be present at Seno K/RLT in the following months of 2026 to help with the transition of Board President and Executive Director in light of the recent passing of Board President Mark Lesko. Expect to see and hear from Paul and Stacy as our leadership tag-team during this period of transition!
