🐄🤠 Faux Farm Livestock Show 🤠🐐

Calling all makers and artists! Create a unique critter inspired by our Reading Rodeo theme using any medium—papier-mâché, knitting, clay, paint, 3D printing, photography and more. Think cows, horses, goats, chickens, coyotes, folklore creatures, or invent your own!

🏆 Four winners will be chosen at our End of Summer Hoedown:

⭐ Rootin’est-Tootin’est (biggest rodeo energy) ⭐ Tall-Tale Worthy (most imaginative) ⭐ Cutest Little Buckaroo (most endearing) ⭐ True Grit Award (most spirited)

Each winner receives a $25 Buena’s Organic Soft Serve gift card and a special livestock show ribbon!

Mark your calendar! The Summer Plant Exchange is this Saturday July 11th from 2:00-4:00 PM on the front porch of the library (480 Primrose). This is the first time we've done it in the afternoon. Bring a plant or cutting and take a plant or cutting. If you have just moved and don't have anything to swap, come on by at 3:30 because we often have an abundance.

The Burlingame Library will be closed tomorrow and on Saturday, but we hope you find something fun to do. Here is a link to some fun options.

Please note that this is only the third time fireworks have been done over the Golden Gate Bridge. Also please note Foster City is NOT having fireworks this year.
