Welcome to the Roosevelt Rough Riders Alumni Page. Roosevelt Grammar School was opened on Vancouver Ave. in Burlingame in 1919. This page is dedicated to those who attended Roosevelt School before 1980 when
the mascot was the "Rough Riders", named after President Teddy Roosevelt's 1st United States Volunteer Calvary. Roosevelt's Rough Riders fought with him in the Spanish-American War in 1898.
