RIP Icon collective. 💙

Icon Collective the school I graduated from closed their doors this Thursday unexpectedly. This was a goal of mine since high school, and I’m grateful for all of my fellow students, the instructors and everyone else I met a long the way.

During my time here I grew not only as an artist, but as a person. It gave me the community I’ve always wanted, and the space to do so. Thank you to all my instructors and mentors for guiding me along the journey to becoming the best artist I can be.

From my time at Icon Rising, to getting accepted, to making lifelong friends, finishing homework in the parking lot, to graduating and then witnessing the school closing its doors… it’s been a wild ride, in which I’ll never forget.

This school was more than just a building to me. It was a dream. Im glad I was able to finish the program before it closed. It being gone still feels so weird to me still, and I don’t think that will ever change.

To my Icon fam: don’t hesitate to reach out. Whether you want to share what you’ve been working on, collaborate, or just shoot the s**t in the DM. I’ll be here.
